Holy crap! Today was the most awesome class ever. We talked about gender issues and the idea of being victimized by the media and gender issues and men and women and how they talk to each other and themselves. It was amazing. Although I am fairly positive that the class I'm teaching this quarter doesn't really like me as much, they are learning so much. I'm totally proud of them. Actually, I'm going to email them with praise them really quick.
Ok, back. It's good to let people know when they're doing a good job. I'm so excited for Valentine's Day so I can give my girlfriends their presents! It's just be saying "Thank you for doing such a rad job of loving me." I really feel pretty damned loved. All the time and they're a huge reason for that. I'll post pictures post gift day:)
My parents are taking Shane and I out for pizza tonight at our new favorite restaurant, South Perry Pizza! I think I've probably blogged about it before, but I'm obsessed, so I thought I might do a short little South Perry Pizza food review.

My pops, who makes the most tasty pizza in the world, explained to me why sometimes their crust is perfect and sometimes not. It's aged--which is essential in a good pizza crust. But sometimes, he predicts, they go through what they have prepped and properly aged, and have to dip into the fresh stuff. But even when the crust is not as perfect, it's still amazing and the best crust in town.
Our favorite salad is the Blue--the dressing is house made and so tasty. The walnuts are always perfectly caramelized, never too sweet, always crunchy with the slightest caramelized chewiness. As for pizza, they're all great, but we are partial to the House (tomato sauce, mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, caramelized onions) and the Margarita. But whatever you get, make sure to get Beecher's cheese curds on it! These salty, melted curds are another thing that set this pizza joint apart from the others in town.
Speaking of Spokane being awesome--Shane and I hope to get to the new co-op in town, The Main Market. It looks so great! I've walked by a few times and am so excited to join!
I'm obssessed with stripes right now. I've worn them almost every day this week! Including today:

That's a weird picture! But it's got my new cute shirt in it:) Here are other stripy things I love:
I pine for summer clothing.
It's almost the weekend again! And this week felt very fluid and fun--not at all the arduous task last weekend was. The biggest difference between the weekend and the weekdays is that I Shane is happier since he doesn't have to go to work. So for that reason, I look forward to this weekend.
